As an honours graduate in Biochemistry my subject specialism is chemistry up to A-level, as well as science at key stage 3. I have taught for over 25 years in both the independent and mainstream sectors. Having worked with students across the whole range of ability I have a wealth of experience and learning techniques to ensure that my students gain the most from their leaning experience. During my teaching career I have taught different exam boards including WJEC,AQA and both Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE. I have also had experience in teaching pupils with ALN including dyslexia and ASC.
My teaching philosophy is based on forming a strong working relationship with my students. This allows me to tailor my lessons to focus on the strengths and needs of the individual student so that they can achieve their full potential. I use a variety of methods so that my lessons are engaging and improve the confidence and attainment of my students.
